Are these two trannys interchangable?

I have a 1990 ford econoline 250 and want to know if I drop the 4x4 transfer case on the rff81p-7006-a a if it will work on my van?

2x4 and 4x4 can't be interchanged without pulling the transmissions apart to replace the output shafts. So if you want to replace a 2 wheel drive transmission you have to find a 2 wheel drive transmission

  • What do you think about these two statements, is there hypocrisy here? I'm an atheist, there's no evidence of god so there's no reason to believe a god exists. There's no evidence supporting any of Dr. Ford's testimony but nevertheless I believe her.
  • Is a two-seater a realistic idea for a first car? I want a 2005 or 2004 Ford Thunderbird but I not completely sure because i'd prefer a 4 door vehicle. I'll probably just use it to go to school and shop and stuff just casual things. I don't have kids or siblings and I don't need room for equipment but it'd be fun to cruise around with a couple friends, you know. Do you guys have any other suggestions, I chose this car because of some reviews I read and I really really like the retro-ish look to the car.

  • I have 1977 ford f150 with a 351 engine in it. I replaced the fuel pump and two filters. It dies often? I have replaced the fuel filter before the fuel pump and the fuel pump aswell as the fuel filter at the engine. Also a new tank. It likes to die. What may be my problem?
