What do you think about these two statements, is there hypocrisy here?

I'm an atheist, there's no evidence of god so there's no reason to believe a god exists.

There's no evidence supporting any of Dr. Ford's testimony but nevertheless I believe her.

Not at all. It's just two opinions that you had. I don't know you so I don't even know for sure if you are kidding or trying to start something. I'm thinking the latter.

No

Unfortunately sexual assault happens every day in America. Millions of women have been the victims of sexual assault. Sexual assault also conforms to the laws of physics and reality.

However, people don't rise from the dead 3 days after they died. The don't turn water into wine. They don't heal lepers with a mere touch. These events are not believable because they do not conform to the laws of physics and reality.

Once you understand this distinction you understand why people can believe that Dr. Ford was the victim of sexual assault, yet refuse to believe in your God.

And people that believe all life comes from a single man and a woman is crazy but you should believe that we all came from 2 fish that crawled out of a single pond in Africa.

Nope the hypocrisy is yours by comparing the two!

No hypocrisy here. It takes a lot of bravery to testify about such a thing, you literally put your entire life on the line in front of millions, get mocked in the process, have to deal with a lot of **** mentally. No woman would do that for fun. If someone says they're an atheist, their life just keeps on running normally.

I said all along that no atheist/skeptic can believe Christine Ford without being a hypocrite.

All Ford gave was a "testament" of her "personal relationship" with a man. It was as believable as people claiming to feel the Holy Spirit.

The left has made it impossible for atheists/skeptics to continue to support their faith based nonsense.

No.

I see her. Her facial expressions, her posture, attitude, overall demeanor. I listen to the fluctuation in her voice. Watch her hold back tears. I don't have to believe her to see truth

God I don't see. I have to believe to see him as truth.

There's no hypocrisy in either statement because an atheist has the right to his opinion including the reason for it, and a juror has the right to believe testimony even absent supporting evidence.

Intelligent scientists believe in some kind of God. At the rate it is now evolving scientists think it would take 10^99 years for DNA to have evolved to the state that it is now even though they also think that the universe is less than 10^10 years old.

You really expect me to believe that. What ever. If it was my own daughter I would pause and ask this doesn't sound clear.
