Why does my car shut off with too much pressure on the steering wheel?

I have a 1990 Ford Tempo. I replaced the ignition to starter cable on it, as it would randomly shut off when taking a hard right due to corrosion on it. However, it still randomly shuts off when too much pressure is applied to the steering wheel. I was suspecting that maybe it is the ignition switch, but I don't have the money to go to a mechanic at the moment. Has anyone else had this problem? And how was it fixed?

There should be a Pressure Sensor on the pump or line. It sends a signal to the Idle Air Controller (IAC) to raise the idle when the pressure gets high. If not the car will stall. Check the wire and connector.
if you want to just turn the base idle up, you can do that too.

I have seen that question asked on here several times, but i've yet to see a answer that makes any sense… Sorry i couldn't help you fix your problem, but i just wanted to let you know you're not the only one.

There's a lot wrong with that car besides being old and worn out. Try tuning it up. It may be not firing all its cylinders. Check the spark plugs to see if any of them are fouled. I bet you find a few of them caked with oil and carbon.
