Why are there more 70s and 80s chevy trucks than fords around today?
I'm not trying to say ones better just a question did chevy make more than ford or something? I see alot of old chevys driving around my area and some fords but i never see dodges at all maybe one or two every once in a wile
I think you're right especially where I live Chevys were more popular here during the late 70s to 80s as for dodge they kind of hit a bad spot in the 80s they didn't make the best reliable cars of the decade.
- Why do illegal immigrants like to drive Chevrolets, Fords or GMC trucks? Everyone knows that Toyotas last 6 x longer? Except them? Why? btw, anyone noticed this? you don't hardly ever see them driving Toyotas, mostly Chevrolet or GMC trucks
- Why do fords small sized engines make more power than chevy s? I have a 67 impala with a 283. And I was looking at a spec sheet for different motors from ford of that same year and saw that fords 289 makes 271 horsepower while my 283 only makes 190 where this extra power coming from?
- Aren't you amazed by the capabilities and the size of today's full-size pickup trucks? I drive a 2011 Ford Ranger XLT 4x2 with a 4.0 liter V6 (~245 ci.) engine. I was looking up the specs for early-mid 1960s F100s (considered full-size), and they have nearly the same GVWR, towing capacity, payload, horsepower, wheelbase, and height as my "compact" truck. In your opinion, do you think today's full-size trucks are amazing or too fancy/over-sized (a traditionalist like me)? P.S.: I like all American vehicles
- My 79 ford f250 doesn't have the same front axle as in the haynes manual, and it looks like an 80s axle? But my dads 85 has a different front axle then the one in the haynes for his year. This whole situations just confusing, all I want to do is get my axles out. Mine looks like it has an outer piece thats held in with a snap ring but after I removed the snap ring it just won't come out. Can't find anything online about it either. Any suggestions?
