B4 ww 2
Since
1959 was the first 4x4 pick-up build by ford. Chevrolet followed suit in 1960. Until then they were build by outside companies. Chevrolet built their trucks with the torque tube making a 4x4 conversion impossible so only ford did 4x4 prior to 1955 ir so I think.
Light duty consumer grade trucks anyways. I have no clue on the big stuff.
Ford in 1959 with the F250 4x4 series and Chevy/GMC the following year.
- When did they stop making T-Bucket Ford cars? I was talking to my friend about T-Bucket cars and I was wondering if you knew what year they stopped making them. I looked it up on Google and didn't find anything.
- Why did my car start and die when put into gear? Now it won't start at all? It's a cold winter day (below zero) Car started right up! I let it run for about 2 minutes, I put it in gear and it just died. I figured it's cold out, not real surprising, but when I tried to start it again, it won't start! Turns over fine but engie won't start! Any ideas? 2003 Ford Taurus 3.0L
- Should the President check and confirm first with auto makers and other American companies before making official statements of their plans? https://www.marketwatch.com/story/ford-not-moving-production-from-china-to-us-despite-trumps-tweet-2018-09-09
- Aren't you amazed by the capabilities and the size of today's full-size pickup trucks? I drive a 2011 Ford Ranger XLT 4x2 with a 4.0 liter V6 (~245 ci.) engine. I was looking up the specs for early-mid 1960s F100s (considered full-size), and they have nearly the same GVWR, towing capacity, payload, horsepower, wheelbase, and height as my "compact" truck. In your opinion, do you think today's full-size trucks are amazing or too fancy/over-sized (a traditionalist like me)? P.S.: I like all American vehicles
