What's with kelly bluebook an NADA prices looking at a 88 crown victoria ford with 107k miles in good shape?
The sellers asking 2800 which is 100 dollars over good shape in the NADA Prices. Fair is 1k good is like 1800 an mint is 2800. The seller said he wants 2500 would take 2250 i'm offering 1800 tops for it. Is this a good car to get. Its got a 5.0 v8 looks clean runs good.
I would stick with $1800. Even if it lasts only two years, you got your money's worth. The VA is going to suckers a lot of gas.
A car that old is NEVER "mint". It's fair to good. Offer a price based on THAT.
(1) Kelly Blue Book is an approximation and the older the car is the less accurate it is.
(2) The seller can do as they like. Even if you are making a fair offer they don't have to accept it.
Look it up. Why should strangers do it for you?
The miles should be questioned or looked up via carfax.
A car that old is a gas guzzler plus it could break down at any time. I would avoid a car that old.
You can't depend on KBB or NADA prices for a car that old. "Looks clean and runs good" -- not a sufficient evaluation of such an old car's condition. Get a mechanic look it over BEFORE you buy for any price.

- I have a 97 Ford Ranger, 4.0, in good shape, 102,000 miles and it doesn't start as well as I think it should. It cranks strong, and has new? Motorcraft plugs and fuel filter. I've cleaned the MAF sensor and throttle body and the truck runs fine and there's no misfire. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but I think the truck should start when I turn the key instead of having to crank 2-3 times. I've also installed a new IAC valve. Any suggestions on how to get the truck to start better?
- I'm looking to buy a 2002 Ford Mustang (automatic with 180k miles), are there any problems with it? Is it a good car to own? - 1 Everything checks out with the car, the engine works great, transmission is good, and my uncle (a former mechanic) says its in great shape and good for its price. A friend of mine told me that older Ford Mustangs have alot of problems and the car isn't worth it. Is this true? I've searched for hours and haven't found any information validating my friend s claim. Maybe someone who has owned the car or has worked on it has a better opinion for me. Any input would be helpful.
- I'm in high school and about to get my first car looking for a loud, fast and good looking car So far I have looked into ford mustangs, I have a choice between a 2007 ford mustang gt with a 8 cylinder motor with automatic transmission, or I can get a 2013 mustang v6. My question is which of the two cars is a faster and louder car cause I would like to show it off and have heads turn by its engine as I drive off on the street. Thank you very much about to get my first car looking for a loud, fast and good looking car?
- Is a Ford Crown Victoria a good first car? I'm a High School student and I want to know if a Ford Crown Vic is a good first car. I always liked the Crown Vic model but I heard it eats up a lot of gas. Is it a good reliable car? And does it eat up lots of gas?
