What is more better on trucks 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive?
Now I see alot of 2wd Old Ford Trucks and I'm like why are they a 2wd we're all trucks are mostly built with 4 wheel drive. Two wheel drive to me does not make any sense on a truck because they don't work properly an are technically never built to work. Four wheel drive trucks makes more sense to me as I advertise and built those trucks with four wheel drive. What is more better on trucks 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive?
2WD is better if you stick to the good roads. It's cheaper and the truck is lighter, meaning better fuel economy and performance.
4WD offers better traction in mud / snow / sand etc. The truck costs more, and the extra weight makes it slower and less economical.
So where do you intend to use your truck? Commuting to work on city streets and highways? Then the 2WD is what you need.
Going off-road or driving on the back roads in winter snow? Then you want the 4WD.
It's not that one is automatically better, it depends on what YOU are going to use it for.
You surely don't know what you're talking about…2 wheel drive is perfectly fine, if you Don't need 4 x 4, for snow… Or off road use…2 wh are cheaper to buy, .insure,.license,… Maintain,… And keep fuel in… If you don't get out in the rough,… Or have lots of snow,… What do you need 4xz4 for?
Four-wheel drive will get you stuck in places you could never get into with two-wheel drive.
Moreover, four-wheel drive does not necessarily make you safer for winter driving, even though some folks think it does. Everyone has four-wheel brakes (at least we SHOULD), and often it is the good design (ABS), correct maintenance, and proper use of the brakes that saves our little euphemisms. It might, however, let you get out of off-road places that you skidded into because you were driving in weather where you really should have stayed home.
We have limited-slip differentials on our two-wheel-drive trucks, and that seems sufficient for our purposes.
Each has it's place.
My 4x got stuck worse than my 2x. It would also go places the other couldn't.

- How to make my '67 ford 352 v8 rumble more and idle more rough? So I have flowmaster super 10's on it, I've lowered the idle to about 650-700 rpm. It just doesn't sound like I want it to. I want it I sound more drag car like. More like a race engine. Is there anything I can do?
