Clean up the connections on both ends and if that dosn't do it install a bigger gauge wire.

Replace the bad wire.

  • Ford 3000 diesel tractor cranks hard and gets hot on starter? It cranks hard and makes a slight grinding noise. The battery posts and cables get warm while the cable connection on the solenoid and the ground on the face of the starter gets real hot.
  • Amplifier set up in car, remote wire to ignition wire? Can I put red ignition wire from car to red ignition on harness from radio together AND also add the remote amp wire from amp to the red(s) ignition wire's… So all 3 twisted together? Please help someone and if you don't answer but have the nerve to vote someone down on there reply get a damn life.
