Just bought a 2004 Ford Taurus SE. Has 73000 miles on it. It has been parked in a garage, unused, for 6 months. Will it be a reliable car?

It should be, you might want to go by a auto parts and have them load test the batty.
NO idea, I would have it checked by a good mechanic.
Put a new battery, and try to start. There's no way to know beforehand.
It's a bit late to ask. It's yours now. Maybe research **** before you buy
No.
Hopefully. Have a mechanic give it a good check up.
That depends on how well it has been maintained and how gently it has been driven. On the whole they have been rated 4 out of 5 stars for reliability with regular preventive maintenance.
Maybe, maybe not. I have the 2001 model and it has been pretty reliable in the nearly 3 years I've owned it. The current major issue is that the heater core is plugged…
From what I've read, the Vulcan engine isn't very powerful but it makes up for it in terms of longevity and reliability as long as you take care of it.
I've put about 30k miles on mine in nearly 3 years and so far no major issues.
Just make sure you perform regular oil changes and take care of the transmission.
I'd change the motor oil and filter right away and change the ATF if it's not red or pink. Then have the brakes and tires inspected. We can't tell you how reliable it is or isn't going to be with out inspecting the vehicle.
- When I bring my car to get an oil hange at a ford dealership, do I just pull right into the service garage? I've never gotten one I'm a new driver. I was wondering if I'm supposed to pull into the garage (the desk and stuff is in the garage) or park, tell them I need an oil change, and wait for them to tell me to pull my car up.
- I parked my 2017 Ford Mustang in my apartment parking garage on the 4th floor for 2 days with out moving it When I left it there I had more than half a tank of gasoline. When I returned to drive the car the gas tank was empty and the car would not start. There was no gas in there at all. Is there a mechanical answer for this?
- Looking to buy a car privately which hasn't been serviced in 4 years but only 9000km (they bought the car brand new)? As above. the car is a Ford EcoSport 1.5 titanium it has 9000km only but they say they've never had it serviced? should I stay away from this car? also, since there's no service history could this be a case of odometer roll back fraud?
- Just bought a new truck, but wish I would have bought the Ford instead I put 8000 down and the first payment is due next week. Would it be wise to trade it just keep it for awhile?
