Car rear looks like its getting closer to ground?

I have a 2001 Ford Taurus SE that looks like its getting closer to the ground in back? How can I fix this?

New suspencion

It's a common issue. The coil springs are getting tired.

Take the dead body out of the back. Or you may need new/stiffer springs. Yours seem to have sagged. A suspension place will let you know, but bear in mind they are in the business of selling new suspensions.

Air shocks or new springs, check you may already have air shocks on the back

Check your shock absorbers for failure.

Tell your mom to get out xD

Suspension springs do wear out and Ford Tauruses (Taurii?) of that generation were/are known for their rear ends sagging very noticeably as those springs wear out. If you look around, you'll notice many Taurus/Sable models of that age riding around with their rear-end sagging these days - they've all got worn out springs.

The fix is to install new rear springs. You'll definitely want to install springs on both sides of the axle at the same time or one side will ride much higher than the other, which will create dangerous handling characteristics on top of just looking really stupid.

New springs in the rear.

Change the springs and change the shocks or given that is an 01 just live with it.

It could be weak or broken springs.

I solved the problem on one of my cars by installing air shocks on it.
