2000 Ford Taurus SE Wagon Heater Problem?

The heater doesn't work. We flushed the heater core hoses with coolant and they are not clogged, what is the reason for the heater not working?

Added (1). The heater works, just very very light.

Open the hood. Run the engine to operating temp. Open car doors, turn on heat, blower to high. Wait about a minute. Feel both heater hoses, they should be both hot, one slightly hotter than the other.

1. Both hot, one slightly hotter: Bad blend door actutator/circuit or stuck blend door.

2. Both cold: Bad heater valve/circuit.

You're supposed to use a garden hose to flush a heater core so there's pressure to help remove any debris. Then you need to purge all the air from the cooling sysyem. If after doing that there's still a heat problem you may have a bad heater blend door actuator.

Hi so it it getting hot when run for a hours.
