My 1995 Ford Taurus Wagon Shakes while driving?
It shakes quite a bit when I reach about 30mh. If I let off the gas there's no shaking at all. While stoped the shaking is minimal. I don't know a whole lot about cars but any help is appreciated, Thanks!
Inner CV could be droppin pins. Getting out of phase.
A shaft is timed and a few degrees of rotation out and looseness
can cause this.
The support bearngs are like little pins.
When it starts to let some fall it's because the clip comes off one of the 3 legs of the center piece inside the inner CV.
A new axle can be priced at the part store.
- Lost my only key to my car. It's an 02 ford taurus station wagon and has a chip in the key? Ordered and blank key. Going to get it cut then have it programmed. I have an extra key that will unlock my doors but won't start the car because it doesn't have a chip and isn't programmed for my car. Can I use my key that unlocks the door to get it cut and then use my vin to have them program it?
- I turn the a/ c on in my Ford.Taurus and nothing happens! It is a.94 station.wagon? I checked the fuse panel under the steering column and. They looked o.k. Is there another fuse.panel that.is. Also controlling the air conditioning?
- Car shakes still? My 94 Ford Taurus shakes on the highway. 65-80 mph and after 80 it stops? I've gotten new tie rods, a realignment, new breaks, and resurfaced rotors, and it still happens to shake even though the mechanic said that the problem was the rotors being warped. Before I spend more money on the damned thing I was wondering if anyone here had some insight to why it's still shaking on the highway. One thing I've noticed is that when I accelerate a chirping sound ensues and chirps faster as I go faster? Any ideas? Please?
- Break lights are always on in my 1998 Ford Taurus wagon? The break lights won't turn off, it's like I'm constantly pushing the brake when I'm not, the only time they turn off is when the car is off. I want other drivers to know when I'm actually breaking, how do I fix this?
