2000 ford taurus, is really hard to start, when it does start it idles really rough?
2000 ford taurus, is really hard to start, when it does start it idles really rough until completely warm, we replaced 4 coils and at first it helped but has returned just as bad.
Check the engine coolant temp sensor. If it's off, then the computer won't provide the right air/fuel mixture when cold. The fact that it gets better when warm is the key

Since this started my battery is always dead when I go to start my car. I've replaced the ignition coil and the wires cause autozone said that was the problem. But it still is acting the same way. The car dies when in idle and I don't know what else to do. Any help is appreciated.

- Why does my Ford Ranger start rough idle when engine is hot? I have a 2002 Ford Ranger XLT 4X4 with 4.0 litre SOHC engine, it starts good when cold, but I get a rough idle start when the truck was already used and heated up. Engine diagnostics show nothing, I changed the air filter a month ago, changed platinum plugs and plug wires last year, regular oil and filter changes been done. I'm running out of ideas on the cause of this rough idle. Any suggestions, please answer.
- My trucks bucked really hard and then ABS light came on? I've been having problems with my truck. It has sometimes where it bucks like a baby bull and I figured my clutch was slipping. The other day it did it and my abs flashed a few times then stayed on. I turned off my truck then back on and it went away. Could my electronics be tripping my abs system? It's an 03 Ford Ranger edge 5 speed with a 3.0l.
