Should I turn my car into a 4 seater or 5 seater?
I have a 1979 Ford Fairmont Boxtop 2-Door. It currently seats 6 people (3 on the front benchseat and 3 in the rear). Should I turn it into a 4 seater (2 in the front and 2 in the back). Or a 5 seater (2 in the front and 3 in the back).
No. Do nothing to mess with this superb vehicle. Enjoy it like it is.
You should leave it alone as is.

- 1997 Ford Ranger 4.0 V6 won't shift into drive after being driven. Takes longer than should to shift into drive when first started? It will go in reverse fine. First thing in the morning when I leave for work, it will shift into drive on it's own, but takes a bit longer than it should. After getting it warm, won't shift into drive at all. I can shift down to 1st or 2nd, then back into drive and it will "pop up" into drive within a second or 2. I also have a ODB2 error P1744 (Torque Converter circuit).

- Is a two-seater a realistic idea for a first car? I want a 2005 or 2004 Ford Thunderbird but I not completely sure because i'd prefer a 4 door vehicle. I'll probably just use it to go to school and shop and stuff just casual things. I don't have kids or siblings and I don't need room for equipment but it'd be fun to cruise around with a couple friends, you know. Do you guys have any other suggestions, I chose this car because of some reviews I read and I really really like the retro-ish look to the car.
