Should I buy my grandad a ford capri?

I don't kbow why i've just thought of it but I was watching a video where a son bought his dad a 57 belair and that mad me think, my grandad used to had a couple of capri's and still remembers the reg of one of them should I save a few grand and buy him one? He wants to retire in a few years ir should I be saving money for my life? Just think it would be nice to get him one as him and my nan have helped me and my sisters so much over the years (buying school uniform even though my mum was happy buying them)

I'm nearly 18 and have 2 years of college and after i'm gonna get a full time job so what should I do?

I would wait till you had the money and then do it

  • Why would people buy a Toyota Hilux when they can buy a better, superior Ford Ranger? I owned a 2010 Toyota Camry and it broke down in 2011 upon reaching 0.6k miles. I treated it like a baby and it failed and disappointed me. My friend also owned a 2008 Toyota Tacoma and it failed to start in 2009 upon reaching 8k miles. And the mechanic said it was impossible to fix. However, my uncle has a 1965 Ford Falcon with over 750k miles on its clock and it still runs like new and he never even changed its oil since he bought it.
  • About to get a 73 ford capri 2.8 V6 any help on what parts and can buy to make it an all together better car? I'm just trying to think of parts to get for it be more reliable my friends already told me cold intake, duel exhaust but I want to go a little deeper but anything helps also I'll be using the highway alot. I plan on turning it into 5speed right know it's a 4 speed manual. I'm going to be driving it alot so anything that helps I might swap the engine but knew someone when swapped it with a 5.0 mustang engine but it twisted the frame
