Replacement Cost Camahaft?
I would like to replace the camshaft in my 76 Ford maverick with a 200ci Inline 6. How much would the cost be to take it to a shop?

- What's the average cost of an engine replacement? I have a ford ranger 3.0 v6 with 112k miles, blown engine, my mechanic is usually extreemely cheap ($30 for spark plug replacement on The same ranger 3.0 v6) but hes charging me 1,000 to replace the engine which seems a little much. Am i right?
- How much should a rear main seal replacement cost? I have a 2000 ford ranger 4x4 with a 3.0l v6. The rear main seal is leaking, but here is the deal, it has a 3 inch body lift which makes it really easy to reach the transmission bolts vs the factory pull the motor method. So, what do you think it should cost… Ballpark answer?
- What is average cost for front brake replacement on 2000 Mustang (in Oregon)? I'm looking at trading my 1998 Dodge Neon for a 2000 Ford Mustang. This is in Medford, Oregon. They say this Mustang needs new rotors and pads. About how much would it cost to do a brake job on this car, at independent shop? Also, this is just a Mustang. Not a GT or Cobra. Auto trans and appears to be all stock.
- If I want to replace the lifters in a 302 V-8 does it matter what type I put in it as a replacement? My lifters are floating a little I'm going to try an oil change first but if that does not fix the problem would it matter what kind of lifters it has if I replace them. Would i be able to replace them with a different kind of lifter? Ok I have a 1969 Ford Mustang with a 1995 ford mustang 302? How could I tell what kind of lifters are in my engine.
