My car doesn't have a CARFAX value?
Decided to check my VIN and it says "there's currently no CARFAX value for 1999 ford ranger"
So what? Of what importance is a carfax value? The answer is "none".
Is there a question?
It would not mean anything anyway.
What, you think every car on the road has a CARFAX report? Hardly.
There's no value in a 20 year old POS.
Truck is too old. A CarFax report is worthless if the vehicle is over 10 years old.
If you want to check out the truck have a certified technician perform a full pre purchase inspection on the vehicle. You'll learn 100% more detailed information from a physical inspection than a paper report that does not guarantee accuracy.
- Why doesn't car manufacturers provide their own car insurance? I always ask myself this question. Why doesn't the Ford, Chevrolet, Mercedes Benz, Toyota, Nissan, and more provide their own car insurance? It's doesn't make a lot of sense to leave the insurance duties to companies that knows little to nothing about cars. Plus, Insurance would be cheaper. Sick and tired of getting RIP off by the Geico, and State farms of the world. What do you people think?
- P1744 code on a ford taurus? I know what it is and have change the TCC solenoid but the car still doesn't go? When put into gear. I also have changed the fluid due to it smelling burnt when the car just all of a sudden wouldn't go. Press gas and it just revs up. This is a 98 taurus.
- If I put lots of money in my car, does it increase its value? I bought my 2005 ford taurus for 2,800 USD. I have put brand new tires for $325, catalytic converter ($739 including labor), repainting and removing scratches ($1,700), shocks and struts ($752) new carpet ($359). New headlight assembly ($95). Does this raise the value of my car? Can I sell it for more than the kbb value?
- I have a Ford Ranger 4.0 and the AC doesn't blow very cool air. I want to add refrigerant for very 1st time, never have added to any vehicle? I'm using a gauge to test the pressure. With AC on max the needle moves between 25 and 45, the blue normal range. The compressor cuts on at 45 and off at 25. This happens continuously. The outside temp is 80 degrees. Not exactly understanding what I was doing, I added a little refrigerant and now the needle goes to 47 in the yellow range. Will this do any harm? Can I remove the excess refrigerant? If so, how? Is the system fully charged? If so, why isn't the air cooler?
