Ford Ranger heater blower motor replacement?
Have a 1994 ranger that the blower motor will stop every couple of days, give it good whack and it starts again, I took it apart and cleaned it and tested all the connections but it still does the same. Wondering what years it was the same. Looking online found one for 95-97 that has 2 different oem part numbers. One is the same as 1994 and one is different by one number and one letter on the end. (on starts f5… B the other f4… A) I think it should fit but wanted to make sure before ordering.
Hi can't help you typical ford ran out of one during production of the truck so they had to find a replacement the problem is it could also need the heater matrix changing as well not worth it in a 20 year old truck so freeze buddy.
If your blower motor is the original, wipe it off and look for the factory part number, then go here: http://www.rockauto.com/ and look for your replacement part by entering year, make, engine, options, and then compare (4 options were shown for a 2.3L the most common in the Ranger).
- What would cause heat/ac blower motor on car to stop? Every so often the heat/ac motor on my car stops. I remove it (which is fairly easy) and put it back on. Then it works fine. I have checked the connections and fuses. They seem fine. The switch works too. Could it be a faulty motor? A new one costs $25-$50. Any ideas? 2002 Ford CV, V8, with climate control.
- Were is the blower motor resistor located on a 96 ford windstar? I found the blower motor behind the glove box but can't find the resistor anywere around the blower.
- Heater isn't hot enough in my car, is there a way to make the heater better? I drive a 1998 Ford Taurus Wagon, the heater on it is alright but when it's 10 degrees outside it kinda sucks. Is there an actual way to make your heater hotter?
- I have a Ford Fusion 2008V V6. The AC-Heating blower motor is making a cricket sound? I have a Ford Fusion 2008V V6. The AC-Heating blower motor is making a cricket sound. It works fine but once in blue it makes that sound. My question is. Do I need to replace it or can I just leave it like that?
