Were is the blower motor resistor located on a 96 ford windstar?
I found the blower motor behind the glove box but can't find the resistor anywere around the blower.
It is mounted in the duct near the blower. You will see the connector on the outside of the duct. The picture is from Rockauto.com; you will only see the rectangular connector and the heads of the two mounting screws. The resistor might be near the switch. Dunno Hi so maybe it had one and it has been removed after all trek car is 20 years old. Mounted on the heater box. Just follow the wiring from the blower motor to the resister pack. It's with in a foot or two from the motor.

- Will a 2000 Ford Windstar lx fuse box diagram be the same as a 2003 Ford Windstar fuse box? I found a link about a 2003 but I need to know if it'll be the same for a 2000. If it ain't can anyone help me out with a link showing information like this but about a 2000 model? Thanks. http://www.fixya.com/cars/t11808484-2003_ford_windstar_fuse_box_diagram
- What would cause heat/ac blower motor on car to stop? Every so often the heat/ac motor on my car stops. I remove it (which is fairly easy) and put it back on. Then it works fine. I have checked the connections and fuses. They seem fine. The switch works too. Could it be a faulty motor? A new one costs $25-$50. Any ideas? 2002 Ford CV, V8, with climate control.
- I have a Ford Fusion 2008V V6. The AC-Heating blower motor is making a cricket sound? I have a Ford Fusion 2008V V6. The AC-Heating blower motor is making a cricket sound. It works fine but once in blue it makes that sound. My question is. Do I need to replace it or can I just leave it like that?
