Since you asked, you probably don't do anything. You have a mechanic change the whole hub or bearing, whatever is the cheapest route.

They come as a complete hub, including the abs sensor. They are quite cheap too. I've got a brand new one in my boot.

Hi those of us who have worked on cars for years replace bearings however as you might be something of a novice with this a Ford dealer would be the best lace to do it.

  • Oil leak ford mondeo mk3? I have a ford mondeo mk3, over the last few weeks I have had to keep on filling it up with oil. I have to add about a ltr every 100 miles. I can't see a leak and no oil patches and I have no smoke coming out the back. I'm also using alot of coolant i'm guessing cause when the oils low it gets hotter. Any ideas

I have a 2005 Ford Freestar minivan one night when I was driving home the transmission went out on it while I was on the highway. After doing some research we found that the torque converter is a recalled part on this model. If the torque converter is the reason for the transmission failure does Ford have to replace my whole transmission as well or just the torque converter?
