How do change a thermostat in a 98 Ford Mustang? - 1
Remove the two bolts holding the thermostat housing. Tap the side of the housing to loosen it. Pull the housing out so you can remove the old thermostat. Scrape the housing and block surface clean of gasket residue. Install new thermostat, new gasket, thermostat housing and tighten the two bolts to factory specs.

- Ford KA Thermostat housing issue? The above image is of the housing. Whilst removing the old housing, the bolt on the top left of the housing (in accordance with the photo) snapped. It's stuck in the engine. I was wondering what impact it would have if I did not remove and replace the broken bolt. i.e. Left that part of the housing unsecured when replacing it with the new one. Pretty urgent so a quick reply will get the best answer!
- For a Ford LTD Crown Victoria 1984 5.0 engine, how do you adjust the thermostat? The carburetor is Central Fuel Injection. (It's an electronic ignition.) The thermostat is on the automatic choke control. I will appreciate greatly your technical support. Throtle body carburetor with throttle position sensor. And the thermostat is electric.
