Ford KA Thermostat housing issue?
The above image is of the housing.
Whilst removing the old housing, the bolt on the top left of the housing (in accordance with the photo) snapped. It's stuck in the engine.
I was wondering what impact it would have if I did not remove and replace the broken bolt.
i.e. Left that part of the housing unsecured when replacing it with the new one.

Ont only overheat but can draw on dirt and air. Witch can destroy your waterpump, witch is driven by the timing belt. So yeah the timing belt rupsures and byebye engine. This is only in the worst case but anyway don't drive it
It would leak, your car would lose water and overheat.
Hi, you should be able to screw it out once you get the part off. Unless it is rusted in with the head off of it there should be not prussher on it so it should just screw out…

- Thermostat lower housing replacement? I currently own a 2000 Ford Mustang gt and have a leak in my lower thermostat housing. I'm having great difficultly In finding out how to remove the lower housing. I honestly don't think it's removable from the looks of it. The thermostat is on the automatic choke control. I will appreciate greatly your technical support. Throtle body carburetor with throttle position sensor. And the thermostat is electric.
- Can I put HIDS in my after market headlight housing? I have aftermarket halo headlights on my ford focus. I don't like the halogen lights and want to put in HIDS but there's a sticker that says no hids is this just a legality thing or should I really not put them in? Will it melt the housing? you can see them in this video
