2002 mustang gt engine swap?

I have a 2002 gt mustang 5 speed with 200,000 miles. Is there any services that would finance me the coyote crate motor for it? I'm 18 and i can't afford to spend 15k all at once. Thats crazy. What is my best option? I can't get a co-signer to get a new mustang so thats not an option. I have no problem making payments. I just love my 2002 but the 2v 4.6 is a slow pos. Very reliable engine but thats not what a mustang is supposed tobe known for. It's just a perk. So can anyone help me on my best option? Any company that will finance the crate motor to me? Or a service i can use?

You will NEVER find someone to loan you that kind of money for that reason. Beside the car is not worth that kind of money what ever you do to improve it.

We always have options. Find a wrecked mustang (totaled in the rear or side) buy it from the insurance company.
Build the existing 4.6 or find one to build.Buy pieces you will need one at a time and start a pile in your garage or closet.
Quitbuying coffee, weed, smokes, fast food and other things and save that money. After you get a few hundred bucks saved, go see an investment broker. There's 3 types of investments.
VERY SECURE… Low interest is paid on these but you are almost guaranteed the 1 to 3 percent profits.
MODERATELY SECURE… You take some risk here but you may get 5 percent.
RISKY VENTURES… THIS IS HOW THE BIG BOYS MAKE MILLIONS… You could loose your money but if it pays off you can get 20 to 30 percent on some investments.
so you put some money in each type of investments. The safe stuff covers your losses on the risky stuff.
It will take some time but if you work it and learn you can become pretty successful.
I have always bought things as I could afford them.(HAVING A PLAN). I buy the cams and valve train components in a kit (cam kit). Then I buy my headers.Intake and fuel system components.Gasket kit. Piston kit.Ring kit.Engine bearings (rods and mains) Connecting rod kit. Gasket kits have gaskets for all the variations of the engine. Only buy the gaskets you will need for yours, that saves money.
When building an engine for heavy duty type (HOTROD) uses, It's wise to buy nice gaskets. FEL PRO makes some better than stock head gaskets or if you plan on running nitrous or forced induction (blower or turbo) then you may want to spend big bucks on something like "Cometic" head gaskets.
forged pistons and rods are very good idea if you want it spin lots of RPM's. Hypereutectic pistons can be a good choice if you buy the good ones (Keith Black makes great ones) they are coated hypereutectic aluminum. The coating makes them 25 percent stronger than stock pistons.Since they are significantly lighter than forged pistons, they don't need to be as strong. The same is true for connecting rods. There are stock weight forged rods that give quite a bit of added insurance. No they aren't as strong as "H" beam rods but being lighter helps a lot.
always spend the 2 to 300 extra dollars on something called "INTERNAL BALANCE") Of the rotating assembly. It's well worth it. Engines make more power when they don't fight themselves and they last much longer.
Pick an engine to build and buy a good book to learn from. The 4.6 you already have is a very good engine. With some modifications it can built to make 500 HP easily.Power adders like turbo or blower and even nitrous can get you much more than 500 HP.
why not go find a 5.4 or 5.8 modular engine. It's the same block as your 4.6 and will bolt up to everything you already have.
If your heart is set on a Coyote it's only 5.0 liters. The Voodoo is the same block and 5.2
The Trinity is 5.8 and the same block…
Vodo and Trinity engines only come one way… Extra heavy duty. These engines have completely forged internals and are capable of 8500 rpm's straight from Ford.

Look around the junkyards, i'm sure that place up the road has the engine you want

"? Any company that will finance the crate motor to me? Or a service i can use?"

LOL no bank will loan you that kind of money for a something that's going to be practically worthless as soon as the engine is in the car. Basically if you can't afford to pay for the whole thing up front, then you can't afford to do it. You're going to have much, much better chance at getting a loan for a 2011 ish GT for $15k.

  • Possible engine swap from 3.0 to 4.0 on 1994 Ford Ranger XL 4x4 manual? I'm wondering if I can drop a V6 4.0L engine straight into a V6 3.0L Ford Ranger XL? Both are 1994 ford rangers, everything the same as far as model/year just different size engine… And if not, what would need to be converted? I found a 4.0 for $250 with 0 miles so if its as simple as swapping engines/trannys I'm going to go for it… Thanks for help!
  • Engine swap for a 2005 3.0 ford ranger possibilities? I really want to add a good chunk of horse power to my ford ranger, and the only way i'm seeing that happen is with a complete engine swap and probably tranny too. What engines will fit without too much hastle? Please keep in mind that the more horses and torque the better.
  • Ford Mustang engine swap to for lightning engine? Possible? Mustang 97 with a 02 ford lightning 5.4 engine can it be done? I was just wondering I want to start working on my car but want a engine swap.
  • Engine swap on a 95 Mustang? I have a '95 Mustang that is originally a 3.8L V6. Recently, I purchased a Ford Racing 427 crate engine from a friend. I want to put that engine into the Mustang, I've seen people do it before. What are the things that I should change? I know that I'll probably need to change engine mounts and brakes; but what else do I need to change? Engine: http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=11832
