Is Ford Mondeo a European make?
Is Ford Mondeo a European make? If it is so, is it a reliable car? I have one and many people blamed me for buying it. They say that is the worst make Ford produces and its maintenance and spare parts are very expensive. What are Ford Cars made in Europe?
The Ford Mondeo is a European model, made by Ford (the make).
It was developed by Ford of Europe, and for the European market it is built in Belgium, using engines built in the UK, Germany or Sweden. It is also assembled in China for the Chinese market.
Ford make a variety of cars in Europe:
Ka (actually built by Fiat in Poland)
Fiesta 3dr and 5dr hatchbacks
Fusion 5dr hatcback
Focus 3dr & 5dr hatchbacks, 4dr saloon and 5dr estate
C-Max 5dr MPV
Kuga 5dr crossover
S-Max and Galaxy 5dr MPVs
They also make the Transit light commercial vehicle (vans, minibuses, chassis cabs and pickups).
The Transit Connect small van/MPV is manufactured in Turkey, which is almost in Europe.
Modern European Ford cars have a good record for quality and reliability, although those manufactured at Saarlouis in Germany (Focus, C-Max and Kuga) may be slightly better than those produced in other factories.
No, Ford is the make and Mondeo is the model. Ford is basically an American company but make cars in a lot of countries including UK and Europe. They sell cars worldwide.
The Mondeo is an excellent car and good value for money. If you have bought an old high mileage car then it might be unreliable, but that goes for all cars. It's as good as any car on the market, it's just down to personal preference. A lot of people think German cars are more reliable, some prefer Japanese. If you have bought new or nearly new, then you have nothing to worry about. If you have bought second hand, then you have nothing more to worry about than if you'd bought any other car.
Having said all that, didn't you do any research before choosing a make and model? Did you just wake up one morning and find you'd bought a car?
- Oil leak ford mondeo mk3? I have a ford mondeo mk3, over the last few weeks I have had to keep on filling it up with oil. I have to add about a ltr every 100 miles. I can't see a leak and no oil patches and I have no smoke coming out the back. I'm also using alot of coolant i'm guessing cause when the oils low it gets hotter. Any ideas
- Media and the left are bent on believing Ford no matter what. Will she make up details to make sure her story is believable? So far her only witness has denied being there. Her details are so sketchy they are not really believable. But, Kavanaugh is being roasted anyway. This is just terrible. The point being, she could say ANYTHING at this point and the left would believe it. She can contradict herself (the number of people in the room) or she can flat out lie because we're not demanding any proof. It is really terrible what they are doing to Kavanaugh.
- Ford mondeo boot won't open off of dash button or boot handle but will from key fob? I have a 2001 ford mondeo estate and I can't get the boot to open from the dash button or the boot handle but I can from the key fob by double pressing it. I have tried removing the dash burron and reconnecting it with no success this seems to be a common problem on this car yet nobody seems to know the cause
