Ford Mondeo 2000 fog lights switch does nothing?
I have a Ford Mondeo Verona X reg and it has a switch for fog lights. When you turn them on, the icon appears on te dash. The only problem is, the car doesn't have any fog lights to turn on…
Explanation of why there's a switch if there aren't any fog lights?
The car should have rear fog lamps, integrated in the rear lamp cluster, which will only come on if the dipped-beam headlamps are also on.
The ignition may also have to be on for the fog lamps to light.
If it doesn't have rear fog lamps it has been modified, no longer meets EC regulations, and will fail an MOT.
To pass the MOT it needs the off-side rear fog lamp to be working correctly.
- 99 Ford ranger XLT base model. Park lights, dash lights, and license plates lights out I checked online and realized it was probably a fuse which it is. Fuse 11 in my power distribution box. The problem is I keep replacing at and soon as I turn on my lights it blows instantly. Have replaced it multiple times. So then I looked under my truck and disconnected the wiring to my taillights and replaced the fuse, it worked it didn't blow. Dash lights and license plates lights were on so I figured some where there's a problem with the brake lights. Any suggestions?

- Replacement fog light cover? I have a 2012 Ford Focus and I recently noticed that the driver side fog light cover has disappeared. Not the fog light but the chrome thing that covers it. Where can I buy a replacement? I can't find anything on where to buy a replacement
- A/C compressor shuts off on rpm above 2000 in temp above 38degC in Ford Mondeo V6 Ghia? The gas has been topped up, so no issues with that. When outside temperatures are lower than 38degC the a/c works perfectly fine. In fact its freezing. If i drive at lower rpm than 2000 the a/c works fine as well. Once the rpm increases (speeds above 100kmph) the compressor shuts off for about a min or 2 and then comes back on for a min or 2. Living in dubai the temp's are always high.
