If Dr Ford's alleged assault happened last week, is there enough evidence for a prosecutor to file charges against Kavanaugh?

Added (1). lol based on what evidence?

Yes.

It was 37 years ago and there's no evidence. She can't remembershit.

What would the charge be, trying to kiss a girl?

Were there bruises scrapes torn clothes of evidence of a struggle?
Were there witnesses at the party, what did they say.

At any rate this is all way beyond the statute of limitations to be investigated and prosecuted.

The reason this wasn't brought up in July when Kavanaugh was nominated is that the only real effect it can have is delaying the confirmation until after the midterm.

This is just more childish, Democrat Antics.

Most prosecutors would refuse the case from somebody that couldn't remember so many important details

None. Zero.

At least she'd have scrapes and bruises and possibly DNA evidence under her fingernails.

That's what usually gets the SOB's who actually do these things.

I think the statute of limitations has run its course on that case, if it ever happened. This whole thing kinda boils down to " He said, she said." An FBI investigation will be based on hearsay evidence only and everyone who chimes in will have something to say based on their political bent.

Not enough information. Are these people teenagers? Presumably everyone's memory is fresher. Is the young lady brought up by more modern standards? Does she thus go to the cops? Or does she just not want to admit she was partying? Would cops even take it seriously, even now?

What date was it. She is lying.
