I'm looking for a replacement clutch plate for i'm 1964 ford fairlane?
I'm looking for a replacement clutch plate with an outside diameter of 10" a 23 spline count and an inside diameter of 1". The flywheel gear on my 1964 ford fairlane went out and before I drop then engine back in I want to get a new clutch kit in her. It has a 260 v8 4.3l and the casting on the trans says (T86F-1) to the left there's an N and to the right there's the number 8 and right under all that is says W.B. DIV.
Any auto parts store should be able to provide a replacement. I'd replace the pilot and throw out bearings as well and I. Have the pressure plate inspected for cracks or heat checking and the the pressure plate spring pressure tested to insure the springs on that old plate aren't weak.
Your Ford dealer will be able to get you one. Ford have an excellent parts network. You can even buy all parts for a model T brand new
- How to diagnose clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder clutch is solid will not disengage can't push in at all? 94 Ford Ranger V6 4.0 2 wheel drive my clutch went solid while driving last night it will not disengage wondering how to diagnose if it's the clutch master cylinder or the slave cylinder please help no fluid leaking anywhere I'm hoping it's just the master I would be the cheap and easy one just don't know how to tell which one is bad
- 2009 ford ranger air conditioning compressor clutch bolt broke, clutch fell off,? Bolt stuck in compressor shaft. Best way to get the bolt out, or take the pulley off to get a better grip on the shaft?

- Ford KA (62 Plate) Wing replacement? I was involved in a car incident the other day and my N/S wing has been damaged. I d rather replace the wing than have someone filler it up as my baby deserves better! My question, how is the wing attached? I d be looking at changing this myself and just get someone decent to spray it if needed.
