- My 79 ford f250 doesn't have the same front axle as in the haynes manual, and it looks like an 80s axle? But my dads 85 has a different front axle then the one in the haynes for his year. This whole situations just confusing, all I want to do is get my axles out. Mine looks like it has an outer piece thats held in with a snap ring but after I removed the snap ring it just won't come out. Can't find anything online about it either. Any suggestions?
