Good car from $4k-$6k that gets 24 or more MPG?

I'm needing a new car. I have $6000 in hand and I don't do payments. Preferrably 2 door with 4-5 seats. The MPG I would like to have is 24 and up MPG. Please no Fords.

Look for a 10-12 year-old econobox like a Hyundai or a KIA. There should be lots of them within your price range

I prefer Nissan altimas, I actually have one from '98 and it is very reliable. And gets almost 30 mpg highway. Great car.

Early 2000's Honda Accord, Toyota Camry or Nissan Altima. All are good quality, fairly fuel efficient, safe, and seat 5 adults.

A decent Honda Accord 2002-2005 goes for 4-6K. Seats 5 gets about 23mpg combined.

  • Police Officer Gets Pranked With Post-Its On Car your opinion please? Kansas City Police detective was a bit surprised when colleagues covered his Ford Taurus with 4,000 Post-it notes as a prank to celebrate his 50th birthday.
  • My truck gets 23mpg, is this good or bad gas mileage? My daily driver is a 2003 Ford Ranger single cab, great truck and al for mel. It's a 4 banger, and I recently decided to calculate and find out how many miles per gallon it gets and it came out tp 23 miles per gallon, and I rarely drive on the interstate either. If that matters. Is my truck good on gas or is it a guzzler in your opinion?
  • 88 ford ranger. Idling at 1200-1500 RPMs and gets 12 MPG. What is wrong? The only thing i have done to it was clean the intake with B12. I also used jb40 with that. Seems like sometime after that this happened. The truck runs great, its just idling high and its using alot of gas. Some trobleshooting tips would be cool. I don't want to go replacing a bunch of stuff i don't need too. I appreciate your help.
