My truck gets 23mpg, is this good or bad gas mileage?

My daily driver is a 2003 Ford Ranger single cab, great truck and al for mel. It's a 4 banger, and I recently decided to calculate and find out how many miles per gallon it gets and it came out tp 23 miles per gallon, and I rarely drive on the interstate either. If that matters. Is my truck good on gas or is it a guzzler in your opinion?

I would say that's pretty decent for around town driving in a pickup truck, even a smaller one. I would not have expected it to do any better.

Not too bad after all it is a truck and can do truck duty when necessary.
My 2010 F150 5.4 crewcab with towing package (3.73 rear end ratio) will get 19/20hwy and 15/16 around town (I check it every fill-up) - and considering the size and capabliites I believe that is pretty good fuel mileage.

I get that in my Toyota Tacoma and it has a six cylinder and out weights your truck.
