Would you ever buy a ford?
My friend says that they are very unreliable. I want to buy a new car the ford fusion but i don't know.
Ford or Toyota
I used to hate Fords with a passion, however my brother-in-laws Ford Taurus, and my mothers Ford Windstar completely changed my mind. The taurus for its ride quality, dependability, fuel mileage, (I get 32mpg when I drive it.) and low maintenace costs. The windstar really gained my respect considering that with 120,000 miles on only 7 oil changes, 2 spark plug changes, 1 plug wire change, and 3 air filter changes. (yes she doesn't maintain a vehicle well at all, but the dang thing keeps right on going) So Ford has earned my respect.
The only downfall I have with Fords currently is panel alignment from the factory. The fit and finish is still a little lax, but the mechanicals are in the Top 3% of all the manufacturers.
Well your friend has probably owned an older ford vehicle. The older ones like in the 1990s arent worth buying. But right now, ford is making cars that are higher quality than honda and toyota and GM. I would definitely buy the ford fusion. I highly doubt you will regret it as everyone that i have heard loves that car. The toyotas are having way to many problems with their vehicles, and i would suggest that you stay away from them.
NOT A TOYOTA! They've recalled over half of their cars since 97.
new fords are very reliable, specifically the fusions, not to mention they get class leading mpg in the 4 cylinder version.
You need new friends. I would buy a Mustang, no question. For basic transportation, I'd go for a Taurus, Windstar, Crown Vic, F-150 or Econoline. Mike S is correct about the Taurus and Windstar. My bro-in-law has a Windstar with over 250,000 miles on it.
I would never buy a ford car. I would never buy anything but a ford truck
- What will take you to buy a all electric car. What minimum range would you like? I'm looking at the Detroit car show and gm and ford are really pushing electric and self driving cars. I'm wondering how most people will pay for one of these cars.
- Why would people buy a Toyota Hilux when they can buy a better, superior Ford Ranger? I owned a 2010 Toyota Camry and it broke down in 2011 upon reaching 0.6k miles. I treated it like a baby and it failed and disappointed me. My friend also owned a 2008 Toyota Tacoma and it failed to start in 2009 upon reaching 8k miles. And the mechanic said it was impossible to fix. However, my uncle has a 1965 Ford Falcon with over 750k miles on its clock and it still runs like new and he never even changed its oil since he bought it.
- Why would people buy a Toyota Hilux when they can buy a better, Chevrolet Colorado? Or even better and superior, Ford Ranger. My cousin is going to buy a pick-up truck next month and it would be a Toyota Hilux. How do I convince him that the Hilux is not reliable?
- If you have a judgment against you on your credit report will you still be able to buy a house? Judgment is from 2008 and it's from Ford motor credit on mileage when we turned in a leased vehicle
