What Automatic Transmission Fluid do I use in a 2011 Ford Fusion SE 4-cylinder with a 5-speed automatic transmission?

Mercon LV - it's considered a life long fluid unless a service bulletin says otherwise.

Go to an auto parts store and the counter person can look that up for you.

Mercon LV. Check if your car has an ATF dipstick. If it does not have one, get the fluid changed at a dealer or a garage.

Petrol or diesel?
Mercon LV

Your owner's manual will tell you which mercon to use.

1. The 2011 Ford Fusion did not offer a 5 speed automatic. It had either a 6 speed automatic or 6 speed manual

2. The proper transmission fluid for the 6 speed automatic (6F35) is Mercon LV. Capacity is 9 quarts, but if you're changing it yourself, you won't get that much out. Note, that if you're low on transmission fluid you have a leak somewhere. Transmission fluid doesn't get consumed.
