Ford Five Hundred gear shifting?
Whenever I shift into reverse from park, the car jerks back roughly. Also from reverse into drive it jerks forward. Why is this?
Your motor and/or transmission mounts are toast and need to be replace. It is a fairly simple and inexpensive repair.
Could be broken motor mounts worn driveline parts bad bearings in the final drive. You were expecting something easy.
