Why Won't My Ford Focus 2010 Diesel Automatic move?
I have brought a ford focus 2010 Diesel Automatic from salvage auction, the vehicle had sustained damage to the front end especially the front passenger side, the drive shift was broke so replaced that however the vehicle still won't move. The gears change on the gear box without a problem but still does not move and when you put the gear in D the engine revs very loud for some reason but still no movement.
If anyone can help with what the fault maybe please let me know.
If the drive shaft was broken it could have broken the main drive shaft in the gear box, but you will have to strip out the gear box to sort out the problem.
It's been crashed, that's the problem.
The gearbox has likely suffered some kind of internal damage as a result of the crash.
- I have a 2007 Ford Five hundred that when I shift when it's off it moves. But when I turn the car on & shift it won't move It's a TBS transmission. It's not making any noise either. I was told it could be computer on the transmission?
- I have 1998 Ford Windstar as of now when I put in drive/reverse it won't move. It just revs. The car starts up fine? It started while I was driving down the road and I pressed the gas to go a little faster and my rpm went up to 4 and went down. I have an automatic too. There's no burnt smell in my transmission fluid stick/tank. I just left the gas station before this happened if that helps. Any ideas? Someone suggest my second/reverse band and I have never heard of it.
- My Ford Focus 2010 radio won't work. I Replaced the battery with a new one and now it's locked? I don't have the manual and all it says on it now is "Ford Focus". It doesn't even show the time. No matter what I press, it just stays on "Ford Focus".
- Ford focus 1.8 petrol automatic.Sometimes car won't start then after a few mins it will? Dash reads speed acceleration reduced.Engine malfunction.Car seems to be driving ok otherwise. Any help thanks.
