Is a Ford Focus a good first car? - 1

I'm going to college in a couple months and my parents got me a 2013 SE Focus automatic. Is it a good car? Reliable? Safe? Should I expect to pay high insurance?

I think the car still has an original warranty if I'm not mistaken.
