Car Alarm goes of repeated throughout day?

My ford Focus Zetec 2007, Alarm has been going off every couple of days, a few times in a row. It had indicated that the bonnet was open when it wasn't, we eventually realised there was a loose wire which has now been fixed, this was about a week ago, it had gone of once or twice since, no bother.

until in the last 24 hours I would say it has gone of around 10-13 times, maybe more as I had to go shopping and left it for a while, I and others have checked the doors, windows, lights and the bonnet again, both before it was locked and after, but can't seem to find a problem.

I had been using the normal key a around 6 months, (this isn't the problem) as my FOB key is broke, and I haven't actually been able to find a new casing for the this particular key.

Would anyone have a solution to this, bloody alarm,
any help would be appreciated, I don't want to have to get up 6 times a night to shut the bloody thing off, and I really don't want to have to leave it unlocked.

The key fob IS the normal key. Any key that doesn't have a chip the alarm system recognizes NEVER started the car. A non-chipped key only unlocks doors.

Take out the alarm before it drives you and everyone else batty. No one wants to steal it any way.
