Car Alarm ford ranger 2003?
If I press the panick button or the lock button twice it will sound, but if i press the lock button once, the car will lock but it would not activate the alarm ( if I open the car the alarm will not sound). I used to fix this by just pressing the lock button many times, but now it doesn't help.
Any suggestions?
I suggest you have the battery in the remote tested.
I also suggest you have someone teach you how the alarm is supposed to work. If you unlock the door with the remote, the alarm is ALWAYS disarmed. If you lock the door, activating the alarm, you CAN'T open the door without unlocking it.
If you press the lock button twice, the alarm DOES NOT sound.
Your 'fix' actually NEVER worked.
