First car recemendations?
Hi i'm looking for a first car for under 7k (the cheaper the better) and i have very wide horizons.
First, i can't decide whether to go truck or car. I have a dirtbike and a seadoo to hall. If i got a truck i would probably be tempted to offroad. But on the car side, cars have better MPG, which will be greatly appreciated. If i was to get a car it would have to look "cool"and be relativley fast. No fords please. I would love a huge selection of options in your answers with a small description of the car.
I know i'm picky and that 7k isn't much but i appreciate everything that i have.
I can help you, give me 20 min and I'll be back.
Mazda 3
Honda Civic
Toyota Corolla
Toyota Camry
Honda Acccord
I see someone with some idea as no fords wanted. Well age and car driving expirence will be your big problem when it comes to insurance road sense you have in bucket loads being a biker but this is when you find out it counts for little with insurance companies.
so look as what is in your budget an enquire from insurance company before you actually purchase it.
You could get a used 9th generation Corolla XRS for that money with around 120-140k miles. They're relatively fast and mine gets pretty good gas mileage as well. Girls like it. Guys are meh about it, and car guys will scoff. But it's basically the best you can get in terms of reliability, performance, and mileage for that money.
7k is not a lot to get a new car but you could get a second hand nissan micra?
- Which car is the best first car? - 1 I'm 16 and I'm going to be saving up to buy a car. I want to spend $1000-$5000. I will likely have it all the way through college. I'm looking for comfort, safety, space (I'd be hauling my stuff to college), and winter capability. Here is what I like. -2000-07 Ford Taurus SEL -2000-07 Mercury Sable LS Premium -2005-07 Ford Five-Hundred Limited AWD Which one should I get? I'd like to stick with a V6 that's either FWD or AWD.
- What car should I get for my first car? I'm 16 and about to buy my first car. I'm thinking about getting a 94 Ford Ranger (120k miles) with lifted suspension, off road tires, and a prerunner bumper. Would this be a reliable car throughout my high school years? Should I get that or should I just get a 2 door coupe?
