What car should I get for my first car?
I'm 16 and about to buy my first car. I'm thinking about getting a 94 Ford Ranger (120k miles) with lifted suspension, off road tires, and a prerunner bumper. Would this be a reliable car throughout my high school years? Should I get that or should I just get a 2 door coupe?
I had the same decision too. Just get a car that will get the job done for sure. If you don't have any income as in a job then get a honda/acura. If you do have job get which ever you can afford. I personally bought a 1997 acura integra ls 5speed manual and i love it. Not to mention mods on this car are cheap. Their value doesn't really ever go down and maintenance is cheap! Just get the car of your dreams until you graduate and finish school. Save money and spend it on fun stuff and whatever, not on a truck thats going to waste gas
Go for a pre owned mazda 4 mazdas a very relyable and if its pre owned you can sell it within 2 - 3 years and get back the same money you payed for it or else you loose money another nice good car is a toyota corrola there not that expencive but there reliable my friend bought one of those recently second hand and it drives very good and its a good first first car

- Remanufactured Ford Long Block Engine. When should I get first oil change? Recently had a Ford remanufactured 2.5L 4cyl long block engine replaced in my car. Other than obviously not beating on the engine, I'm curious as to when to get the first oil change. I've came across a few different answers ranging from 1k miles to 2.5k. I'm creeping up to 1k mile on the engine and would be grateful for insights.
