My car had a service a couple of weeks ago and then over the weekend it has started to make a tapping/rattling noise when the engine gets warm. The noise eventually disappears after driving for a while. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same issue? It is a Ford Fiesta
So I have a ford fiesta 2013 model and it says transmission malfunction service now. When I drive the speedometre dosent move it just stays on 0 and there are other warning lights but I don't know what it means. I took it to ford to get it checked up and a day later they still don't know what's wrong with it? Has anyone had the same experience
I want to play music through my Ford Fiesta from my Galaxy s5 and i can't get it to work, i've tried using my usb cord but it won't work?
I was considering buying a used 2013 For Fiesta from a Ford dealership.
It only has about 13,000 miles and is going for roughly $13,000 as well.
I was researching these cars online and apparently all of the newer For Fiestas have a ton of transmission/shifting problems going so far as the car losing it's acceleration while driving. There's even a lawsuit filed against them (but no recall.)
The car's history is provided by the dealership, no accidents or trips to the shop. But the only other owner only had the car for about five months before turning it in. Which makes me wonder if it has transmission problems too.
Given all the reports of problems with this car, is it worth buying?

I want to buy a used car and I'm stuck between clio and fiesta. I like the looks of fiesta which is 03 model and has 98k mileage, clio has 82k mileage but is a 05 model and is costing me 200 quids more. Both have same features and I only drive in town around 2000 miles a year. For other purposes we have a crv. Can someone suggest which is a better option. At present, I have a Fiat punto which has been nothing but trouble so I'm fed with getting the car fixed. Just want the new car to be less trouble and want it for 2-3 years and then change it.
So my mum has the 07 Fiesta Ghia, not my fave car, but she likes it lol.
And on journeys we like to listen music. However, with the radio being **** nowadays we often listen to CDs.
But on the stereo-dash where you can access "am radio, fm radio and CD" there's also a button for "aux" but I can't seem to find the aux jack anywhere. It would make listening to music alot easier.
Anyone know where the Aux jack is in an 07 Fiesta Ghia?
I'm a 16 year ol guy and I want to buy my first car. I want a full size pickup or SUV with 4WD for the deep snow. I've asked a few questions like that. I love Ford. I'll ask a question like "Should I get a Lincoln Navigator or Ford F150 for my first car?" and people come back with these really small cars like Civics and Corollas. I will specifically say the reasons I'd rather drive a truck (higher ride height, I fit in it better, they are better in deep snow). There's nothing wrong with Honda and Toyota. I like them just fine. I just want a Ford Truck. Why does everybody say Ford is junk? I know a lot of people who drive Ford and they have not had a single problem. I'll admit small cars get better gas mileage but, where am I going that I should have a car that gets 45+ mpg? I know people with Chevys, Fords, Chryslers, Hondas, and Toyotas. None of the people I know have never had a single problem (other than wear & tear and routine maintainence). Why do people hate American cars so much?
Added (1). Cars like the Ford Focus, C-Max Hybrid, and Fiesta all get over 30 highway.
Just want to know if I can and what would I have to do to do it?
I have an automatic 2011 Ford Fiesta ses (The best of its group) but the thing is its automatic. It seems very sporty and it has a 1.6 litre inline 4 but it actually is pretty fast for the motor. Would I be able to turbo charge it and do a lot of mods to the engine?
My Ford Fiesta 1.2L is having this strange problem.
So when i start my car up in the morning (its now cold in the UK mornings) it starts fine and all is good. When i set off, all goes well 0-30mph is no problem at all (although i do get quite a bit of white smoke out of my exhaust when first heading off but this stops after i get to speed)
But getting to 40mph takes a good 5 seconds. Not that much of a problem, But then getting to 50 takes between 8-10seconds which is quite bad and getting to 60mph takes up to 15seconds. It never used to do this and i have to stay in 4th gear all the way up to about 55mph to get it to go 60 a little quicker.
What could the problem possibly be?
