Is 43,000 miles a lot for a 2011 Ford Fiesta SE?
I'm looking into buying a used 2011 Ford Fiesta SE but don't know if 43,000 miles is a lot for it or not? How long will this car last me? Also is 9,980 a fair price for it?
That is a low average # of miles… How long it will last depends on how well taken care of it was before and how well you take care of it… For the price, look at the edmunds website for comparisons… The 2 main things you must do when buying a vehicle is (1) be sure the present owner has all written service records for the vehicle and (2) have a mechanic do an inspection of it before buying - not doing both of those things may result in throwing away your $$
Hi actually that is good mileage for a 4 year old car most have done 50-60k miles in 4 years. So well worth the money.
The Fiesta is not the best of cars. Look at used Honda, and Toyota models instead.
- Looking at trading my 2011 Ford with 80k miles in with an engine knock for a newer jeep Patriot with low miles, Roll 3k negative equity? Ford Fusion has developed and Engine Knock and another mechanical issue. Thinking about getting it repaired or trading it in for a newer Jeep Patriot with low mileage. I would have to roll $3000 of negative equity over to new loan. Any thoughts?
- Do you think buying a 2000 ford focus with 161,000 miles a good car purchase? For 1,000? I'm wondering if anyone will recommend, a 2000 ford focuse with 161,000 mileage as my first car, I recently got my drivers permit I want a car to practice my driving skills and I stubbled into the 2000 ford focus.
- My dealership told me to change my oil at 10,000 miles on my brand new ford fiesta? I have a 2013 ford fiesta and my dealership told me that my car only needs to be changed every 10,000 miles.so before my first oil change, I waited til 10,000 miles. Then I was told that my dealership was wrong and now i've been doing it after every 3,000 miles. But i'm wonderin since I changed it after the first 10,000 miles, could that have messed up my engine somehow? It was brand new when I got it. Only had 25 miles on it
- Ford Fiesta 2012 model (69 000km on the clock / 42 000 miles) Aircon has seized - warranty? So I'm wondering - our ford fiesta is covered under warranty until 120 000km and it's on 69 000… We, however, serviced the car through a friend of ours who is a qualified mechanic - and DID use all ford parts. We were driving just the other day and our air con compressor seized. This is practically a brand new car. Is the air con still under warranty if we self serviced the car? It is definitely a manufacturing issue and has NOTHING to do with the service.
