I'm looking to buy a car but scared of the petrol/running costs?
BMW 1 series, 5 doors hatchback, 2005, 1.6 litre engine, petrol, how much fuel roughly for full tank. How long would it last me if I do short trips like 4-5 miles everyday? Someone also told me that the petrol automatically goes on a bmw if not in use? Is that true? Will the fuel last me good time with the BMW like it did with my 1.25 litre ford fiesta lx 2004, petrol.
Fuel use will go up slightly but not a huge amount with bmw. No to second question.
Be ware bmw some of them need higher octane which run up fuel cost up had friend by one and didn't run good with out better grade fuel.doesn't use fuel parked. It will not get close to your fiesta if not have problem the your better kept it. Bmw maintenance is much higher not every body likes to work on them
- Battery light came on in my car and steering wheel locked but the car was still running what could it be? I drive a 1999 Ford Taurus I was pulling out of a parking lot and the battery symbol popped up and my steering wheel locked but the car didn't shut off. I applied the breaks slowly and the battery symbol went away and my steering wheel unlocked. I do believe I have some issues with the "computer" in the car i was wondering if this was the cause
- I'm in high school and about to get my first car looking for a loud, fast and good looking car So far I have looked into ford mustangs, I have a choice between a 2007 ford mustang gt with a 8 cylinder motor with automatic transmission, or I can get a 2013 mustang v6. My question is which of the two cars is a faster and louder car cause I would like to show it off and have heads turn by its engine as I drive off on the street. Thank you very much about to get my first car looking for a loud, fast and good looking car?
- Looking to buy a car privately which hasn't been serviced in 4 years but only 9000km (they bought the car brand new)? As above. the car is a Ford EcoSport 1.5 titanium it has 9000km only but they say they've never had it serviced? should I stay away from this car? also, since there's no service history could this be a case of odometer roll back fraud?
- I want to buy a car but make a measly amount of money (how can I buy one)? I have a 2001 Ford Focus with a little over 170,000 miles on it. It's not really running that well. I will try to keep it up with oil changes, tune ups, etc. But if I sell it, how much trade in value will it have? How much will I need to get a cheap car? I only make under 400 dollars every two weeks because I have a part time job so I barely have any money.
