What does a 1985 ford f150 in fair condition sell for?
Depends on your definition of 'fair' condition. When I was living in Wisconsin, an old truck like that ALWAYS had rusted out rockers/cab corners and wheel wells. Assuming it's a 4 wheel drive, you'd maybe see $3k out of it, and that's with no rust and a good running engine and trans. Now I'm living in North Carolina, where most guys think their trucks are worh their weight in gold. I'd expect someone to be starting out asking about $4k for a pretty much rust free one down here. I'm going to guess that an '85 in fair condition would maybe need a good tune up and some replacement parts, probably has some rust too, a few flaws on the interior, etc… Maybe about $1,500 max. That's what I'd pay if I were in the market for something like that.
- What is the best way to sell a 2014 Ford Mustang that is in great condition? I have a loan that won't be paid off for awhile. Is there any possible way to sell the vehicle so that they take over the payments or pay in full? I do not want to trade or owe any amount on the vehicle once it is sold.
- 1985 Ford Mustang drivers seat does not stay upright? I have a 1985 Ford Mustang Foxbody, the drivers seat will not stay upright, it was to constantly lay back. How could I fix this without having to go find a new seat? I may have to get a new seat I understand.
- I have a 98 manual 4.2 v6 f150. The truck is in great condition and I don't want to sell it? The engine is on it's last legs and I was wondering if it would be worth swapping the engine with a new ecoboost v8 and switching to an automatic transmission. Any advice? Preferably from people who are familiar with Fords.
