BEST CAR HEAD UNIT. NEED EXPERT ADVICE?

I work at Best buy. I know a lot about car-fi. I know that every head unit we keep on display uses MOSFET amplifiers to keep it cool, cheap, and small. These mosfets put out on average 14 watts/channel and at most 20 watts/channel. Everyone knows to get better quality/louder volumes you need to utilize the preouts on the back of the headunit. By then quality will be dictated by the amp you use, and a sufficient power source. Cool.
So this guy tells me I know nothing because I say a sony will sound the same as a kenwood and pioneer and jvc etc. Because they are all chinese mosfet amps. And because youre putting it in a '98 ford f150 with road noise and engine noise and $40 reinforced paper pioneer speakers. I told him the only differences are the sales they happen to be on, bluetooth capabilities, sirius, hd radio, usb, analog, and the ease of EQ settings. I firmly believe that radios are all capable of the same quality sound out of the box. And he told my manager to fire me.

So, my questions are for the car audio masters, I want to know

WHO makes these mosfet amps. Is it all brand X amps in brand Y head units? Or is it actually sony amp in sony head unit?

WHAT are the differences between brands? Are there notable digital samplers going on behind the scenes that nobody knows about?

IS there ever an argument to take seriously when someone wants sq from the speaker outputs at 15-20 watts? IMO you are going to distort by the time it is loud enough to drown out road noise.

Why won't the turn signals(blinkers) on my car's dashboard work?

I own a 1985 Ford F150 XL and I'm currently sixteen fixing up the many problems the car has due to it's age and how many salt water floods it has been in down at Eureka, California. For some strange reason when I started my car, I tested my turn signals when I noticed that when I put on the right or left blinker the lights on the outside of the car work. Now when I turn them on from the drivers seat, the indicators on the dashboard do not turn on at all. So now I can't tell which turn signal is on when I'm driving. I better fix them because it can be dangerous. Anyone please help.

How to disable ford alarm system?

I've been trying to install a aftermarket stereo in my 2006 f150 king ranch. It just won't crank when it's all wired in. I was told it's because of the security system or the factory sub. When I put in the factory stereo back in it would crank right up? Any ideas?

I have a 2006 ford f150 and the 4x4 doesn't work?

Ok my 4x4 will not work. When in neutral and foot on brake I switch the nob on the dash to 4 lo, I hear a click from the T-case and the 4 lo light on the dash comes on and it feels like its in 4 lo but the front wheels do not turn, when trying to put in 4 hi I hear a click fron the T-case but the 4 Hi light on the dash blinks once and doesn't stay on. I believe the shift motor on the T-case is working bc I can hear it switching when I turn the nob on the dash.i've read about the acuators on these trucks and the selonoid that is behind the battery I'm wondering if this is my problem. Has anyone had the same problem with their 4x4 like this? I also hear a clicking noise from the front wheels while in 2 wheel drive. Any help would be appreciated.

Does the enlisted soldier make good money?

The salary alone isn't great, but with bonuses and allowances etc. Included, does it all even out to be a comftorable living? Since housing allowances take a chunk out of their housing payments doesn't that leave money for nice cars and stuff like that? I live in Fayetteville, NC which is very close to Fort Bragg and it seems like most of the soldiers I see on the road have nice vehicles like the Ford F-150, mustang, camaro and a lot of them drive really nice motorcycles. Is it me or do soldiers typically own pretty nice cars? Would this occupation provide comfortable support for a wife and a couple kids?
