Ford F-150 V6 Twin Turbo or V8?
I think they are both overpriced, but the 3.5 claims to have a higher tow rating than the V8.

Just wondering what the difference is exactly, and how do I know what I have? Are power brakes relatively new? I know both are hydraulic, and some people tend to prefer one style over another, and that you can get both manual and power brakes in both druma and disc versions… I just don't get what exactly it means mechanically for a brake to be "powered". For examples, would a 2003 f150 have manual or powered brakes? How about a 1965 Ford? Or a 2009 hyundai? Etc…
Added (1). Based on the appearance of a cansiter in front of the master cylinder, I'm pretty sure my 72 volkswagen beetle did not have power brakes then… I guess its more of a necessity with bigger cars/trucks?
I have a 2003 ford f150 xlt supercrew and when i turn sometimes it sounds like something falls over in my bed of my truck.( i have nothing in the bed of my truck) so i had someone shake my truck side to side while i climbed under the back by the rear end, and found that my rear wheels (both sides) make a popping noise. What could this be?
I want to find a ford 9 or 8.8 that has posi from a fox and a little bit of a higher gear ratio in my 84 truck it has 3.08 ratio right now i want at least 3.5 because i want to eventually swap a t5 from a foxbody. Everything in my truck is fine although i think i have some play in my diff. Will i need to change my axles or the complete rear axle. I need to know this because i'm taking the parts to mexico to do the job, i know a really really good mechanic charges less than 5 dollars per hour rate
I have already ordered head gasket kit to replace all seals. However, with system 8 below, I was wondering if the leak could be on the intake manifold opposed to the head gasket or some where else I should be looking.
Symptoms are as follows:
1.Fail to fire on cylinder one error code
2. Only cylinder one shows signs of coolant leak.
3. No signs of coolant in oil; however, signs of oil in coolant compartment
4. All spark plugs show signs of over heating, but not bad.
5. Can hear cylinder one failing to fire when idling, with the occasional backfire.
6. Distinct sweet smelling, white cloud exhaust, that lingers in the air.
7. Once engine is to temperature engine runs smoothly even if idling.
8. Occasionally exhaust clears up when I'm driving at city speeds and after idling again it stays clear without overheating. I suspect that this is happening when the thermostat opens but not certain of that.
9. Have had the signs of the occasional air bubble in system, where heater stops working and then engine starts to over heat. I turn off truck and open reservoir cap to confirm coolant then close. I start truck up again and every time I do this everything starts working fine.
10. With driving truck about 200-350 miles a week I need to add a gallon of coolant about once a week.
What is the part called that goes between the grill and the bumper like in the picture I don't own this one picture is for refrence
My dad has a 1975 Ford F-150 pickup truck. I wanted to drive it until I watched a video of a 2009 Chevy and a 1969 Chevy crash head on at 35mph. The 1969 Chevy was completely destroyed. I know that they're not the same vehicle or company. The only safety feature it has is seat belts. Everything on the truck is original. I looked at the truck and from what I could see, there are not many problems with it. It needs inspected, the bed is rusted in some places and the battery is either dead or the truck doesn't have one in it. My dad is not sure if the truck has a battery in it. I'd like an honest answer, if you hate Ford and want to answer this saying it is junk, don't answer.
Added (1). There would be a battery put in before it is sold.
How to turn my 1980 ford f150 stepside into a 4wd? - 1
My 5.4 is running lean on bank one or two don't rember exactly but it rides real rough hard vibration and it hessatates sometimes when you stomp on the gas and if you know any of the causes please answer that to thank you
Was looking up oils to see what would be best for my truck to make it last the longest it's already 13 years old and 160k miles and has never had an issue since it was new it takes 3w30 oil but this nebrock oil only comes in 0w 100 but from what I've seen its by far the best but just not sure how it work in a 4.6 Ford motor
