Can i put 275/65/20 tires on 2004 ford f150 lariat? I don't have a lift and currently have 275/65/18 tires - 1

Added (1). i'm not going to use the rim i have on now. I have a 20 inch rim for the 275/65/20 tires. Just unsure it will fit without rubbing or needing a lift.

Not without redoing the suspension system.
275 is the mm of the tread width.
65 is the percentage of the tread width as the height from ground to Rim
18 is the diameter in inches of the metal rim (32.1 inch tyre diameter)
20 is the diameter in inches of the metal rim. (35.5 inch tyre diameter)

So you should see that the 20 inch rim needs much more clearance to the body. I make it that you need a 275/55/20 tyre to make a fitment.

Check with a local tyre shop.
Does the wheel have the correct stud pattern?

At the very least you will have to change the metal rims (or they won't fit right).

"Don't have a lift"? How were you even planning on putting 18" diameter tires on 20" rims?!

If going with a 20 inch tire and rim combo on a 2004 Ford F150 Lariat 275/65-20 sized tires would not be applicable. For such a set up, without suspension mods, you would need to use 20x9 wheels with 275/55-20 sized tires to stay within Ford specs. The sidewall height of your suggested sized tires would be entirely too tall for your Ford. You'd be all over the road.

Basically you're asking if you can fit 35's on a stock height 2004 F-150. That's a little to tall a tire. 33 inch tall tires are the practical limit without a lift for that truck.
