Cheap oil since you probably use a quart every 100 miles, unless the engine is rebuilt. Then you use what the rebuilder recommends.

If the engine isn't leaking oil, use a high milage oil of your favorite brand. The viscosity of that oil lasts longer for better lubrication.

With more than 300k miles on your vehicle, I'd definitely think about a "high mileage" engine oil for your next oil change.

5W-20 is what was recommended from the factory. But with that high a mileage, I'd be tempted to run 5W-30.

As you servicing and current oil seems to be doing well. Why change? Manufacturers guidelines are there after many millions of miles of testing. Unless Ford recommend a different at high mileage I would carry on as before.
