What to do to make my system hit hard?

I have a 97 Ford explorer I have 6 15 inch kicker cvr. I need to know what to have to make them hit hard and clean as in box and amp and what ever Eles I will need should the box be walloff subs face up or 5th order box. And would a crunch 5000 Watt class D amp push them enuff and not over doing them to run into blowing them or bending the voice coils.so the best info for me.

For starters, your box will be quite a project even for someone with a considerable amount of experience.
Even if you go sealed you need around 12 cf. To port them you'd need close to 20cf total.

As for power -- cvr 15's need around 500w rms each to perform optimally, so roughly 3k is what you'd want.
As for an amp -- are you talking about the pzx5000.1? $200 does NOT buy you 5000w, or 3000, or even 2000. Brands like crunch really only have one tactic when it comes to selling equipment -- LIE about power ouptut/handling. That amp uses 3 40A fuses so it can't be much more than 1200w rms.

A pair of them would work reasonably well. If your subs are dvc 2's you could wire three per amp at 1.3 ohms getting you around 300w rms per sub.

At 2000-3000w rms you're going to need a high output alternator -- the bigger the better.

We need to know the power ratings of the sub amd the volume for boxes that it says in the manual. I've never owned kicker or know their power rating but for 6 15"s i feel like 5000 isn't enough. Maybe 6000-7000. You probably want a ported box if you want them to hit hard.
