The dealer
Hi so a Ford dealership maybe the only place to get one.
Assuming you have PATS, you can take proof of ownership to a dealership and have a key made and programmed. Some locksmiths can cut and program PATS keys as well, they are going to be a cheaper option in most cases, but not all locksmiths offer programming of the key, so you'll have to call around.
- Lost my only key to my car. It's an 02 ford taurus station wagon and has a chip in the key? Ordered and blank key. Going to get it cut then have it programmed. I have an extra key that will unlock my doors but won't start the car because it doesn't have a chip and isn't programmed for my car. Can I use my key that unlocks the door to get it cut and then use my vin to have them program it?
- Where can i locate my 2003 ford focus key code if i lost my keys? I lost my keys to my vehicle and now I need my key code for it to get a new key made. Where can I obtain this code. Most dealerships can only go back to 2004 so that is not an option.
- 2000 ford focus, lost ignition key, how can i unlock it to tow to junk? Have door key that unlocks it, no battery in it. Could this be why i can't unlock the floor shifter?
- 2005 VW Golf 1.6 or 2005 Ford Fiesta Zetec S 1.6 2005? First car for a 17 year old who has just passed his licence. Both cost similar amounts for purchase and for insurance.
