Coolant leaking from thermostat?

I have a 2004 Ford Explorer Sports Trac. How much would it cost to get this fixed at an auto shop? Is it simple enough to do at home? I'm not very car savvy.

Added (1). Well I took it in to one auto shop and they said the thermostat was leaking and needed to be fixed and that it'd cost me $300. That seems like a lot of money just for a leak? So I wasn't sure.

I can help you, give me 20 min and I'll be back.

Just ask them what part you need and search it online yourself and order it then take it to them and only pay them for the work.

Coolant leaks because they reused the same gasket(instead of a new one) Thermostats never leak as they are totally in the fluid under the thermostat housing.
